The survey was carried out in August – October 2021. The aim of the survey was to examine the level of social awareness and interest in the issue of climate protection relations and shopping habits. The questionnaire was to outline the perception of these issues among the respondents, as well as present the respondents’ view on the implementation of such topics in schools.
The survey results indicate that the majority of recipients are aware of and interested in the issue of climate change and its relationship to the consumptive lifestyle in modern society. It also seems that the respondents are convinced that politicians or national organizations and international markets have a decisive influence on shaping the food market to combat climate change, but also their individual, everyday purchasing choices are significant.
